[TSII]This is the only all-silver model in the Standard Series.
The keypipe is made of metallized silver (Ag997) and the rest of the keypipe is made of sterling silver (Ag925) with silver plating.
It is equipped with the E mechanism option, which makes it easier to play high E (mi) notes.
This is the most affordable of all Altus Flute’s silver models, so we recommend it to those who want an all silver flute while keeping their budget in check.
We recommend this flute as a second flute for a replacement.

We have many special features of Altus Flute that other companies don’t have.
Normally, the tone holes on lower-priced flutes from other companies are all drone (raised) style, but all flutes made by Altus come standard with a “high C key/soldered tone hole”.
The position of the tone hole, which determines the pitch and tone quality, is also designed with the utmost care and attention to detail.
This is the “Altus Scale,” Altus’ ideal sound design created with the cooperation of William Bennett, professor emeritus at the Royal Academy of Music in England.
