■A10E Rose LIP “G
The Altus entry model “A10” uses Ag925 sterling silver, the most standard material for flutes.

It has a full, bright tone and a core sound similar to that of an all-silver model.
It is easy to play and can be used for a long time even by those who are just starting to play the flute or those who have blanked out.

Based on the “A10”, we have applied pink gold plating to the inside of the head pipe, lip plate, head crown & reflector, and G# key.
The “G# key”, which has been very popular, and the “lip plate”, which has been inquired about a lot, have been combined into a slightly luxurious specification.

The Altus Flute’s Special Features
The Altus Flute has many special features that other companies do not have, one of which is the high C key tone hole.
Normally, the tone holes on lower-priced flutes from other companies are all drone (raised) style, but all flutes made by Altus come standard with a “high C key/soldered tone hole”.

The position of the tone hole, which determines pitch and tone quality, is also designed with the utmost care and attention to detail.
This is the “Altus Scale,” Altus’ ideal sound design created with the cooperation of William Bennett, professor emeritus at the Royal Academy of Music in England.
The result is a bright, gorgeous, and full sound that is uniquely Altus.
