Altus flutes have undergone a model change starting in September 2023. The diameter and position (scale) of the sound hole have been modified, the shape of the lip plate has been improved, and a new design has been adopted to upgrade the flute to one that “sounds with more correct pitch and more correct overtones”!
With the model change, the model name has also been changed, and this “A9” model is the successor to the previous “A907” model.

A9” model is the successor to the old ‘A907’ model.
The standard series of Altus flutes, “A9” model with silver head tube.
The A9 model has a silver head tube (Ag958) and the key and tube body are made of nickel silver, and is highly regarded by many players for its thick sound that reaches far and wide.

The E mechanism is standard equipment, making it easy to play high E (mi) notes.
The key is an offset/covered key, making it easy to hold and use even for those with small hands or thin fingers.
This model is popular among beginners, middle and high school students, and the general public.


［A9RE Rose LIP “G”]
This model is inspired by the image of a rose, adding a touch of glamour not found in the regular A9 model.

Based on Altus’ entry-level model “A9,” the head crown and reflector of the head tube and the G# key are plated with pink gold.
In addition, the lip plate and inner head tube are also pink gold plated for a richer sound.
