The S-WO1 is characterized by a light, responsive feel and a bright, rich tone.

The “WO Series” is the result of the “990 Series” being further refined through trial and error—a process made possible by the hands-on approach of a small local factory, where the president and craftsmen brainstormed ideas, tested them in practice, and worked together to create a saxophone that truly embodies the Yanagisawa spirit.
The “WO1” is a lightweight model within the “WO Series.”
To highlight a key difference: while the “WO10” and ‘WO20’ feature a one-piece key post base, the “WO1” attaches each key post directly to the body, reducing weight and resulting in a design that is responsive and easy to play.
It offers performance suitable for a wide range of players, from beginners to intermediate players.

By using traditional yellow brass for the body, you can enjoy the classic saxophone sound with a well-balanced blend of brightness and warmth.
