Altus is a Japanese flute maker with a workshop in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture.The Altus Scale, a unique design created through research based on conversations with flutists from around the world, allows for more accurate pitches.
The Altus Scale is made by craftsmen who are particular about materials and manufacturing, and each flute is carefully produced one by one.
A1007
This model is the standard series of Altus flutes, “A1007E” model with a silver head and body tube.
The head and bodytube are made of silver (Ag925), and the key is made of white copper.
The E mechanism is standard, and the key is an offset/covered key, making it easy to hold and use even for those with small hands or thin fingers.
This model is popular among beginners, middle and high school students, and the general public.
The Altus flute has undergone a model change in September 2023, and a new model has been released.
This old model was ordered right after the new model was released. You can enjoy the sound of the silver head tube at a more affordable price than the new model (A10E).
