1977 Gibson Les Paul 55-77 - Dark SunburstWeight 3.852kg
This is the second version of Les Paul Special reissue model.
The mahogany body and neck are made of high-density material and the fingerboard is made of high-quality rosewood, which is typical of this period. Two SSC-1 (Super Single Coil Pickups) . The neck grip is not round like a Custom Shop, but more like a slim Oval-C shape.
The nut and frets have been replaced since it arrived at our store, and although there is a slight amount of fret wear, it is still in beautiful shape. The neck is straight with about 80% frets remaining, and even with a low string height setup, there is no chatter or clogging. The truss rod has been confirmed to work well on both sides.
The neck set angle is shallow, so there is a limit to the string height adjustment with the bridge, so the bottom of the new bridge has been modified to lower the string height further. No modifications have been made to the guitar itself. The original bridge is included.
The pegs are original, but the tuning accuracy has been degraded. You can use the guitar as it is now, but we recommend replacing the pegs when using the guitar as your main instrument. The jack plate has been replaced, and there is an extra hole for the mounting screw since it has been changed from the original position.
All used items in stock have been fully set up.
We do not sell them immediately after setup, but rather we start selling them after checking the condition change for a certain period of time, so that you can use them with confidence after you purchase them.
Nut and frets replaced.
Bridge replacement (original bridge included)
Jack plate replacement (original parts not included)
Strap button replacement (original parts not included)
Original hard case is included.
