"Nishgaki Guitars" is handmade in Japan. It is a work of art by guitar luthier Yuki Nishgaki.
There are many historical shrines and other buildings in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, where Mr. Nishigaki has a workshop. Miki has a blacksmithing culture that has been passed down since ancient times and is famous for traditional crafts such as saws, chisels, planes, trowels and small knifes. In addition, Mr. Nishigaki had a grandfather of a traditional architectural carpenter, and touched woodworking and tools from an early age. He was born and raised in a unique environment.
Such a guitar made by Mr. Nishigaki is an original instrument that is very different from existing ones. That is a hybrid design that mixes traditional production methods with innovative methodologies. He is using the traditional tools mentioned above, each piece is made with his own hand's sensation. It is a one-off product that designs materials, parts, structures, etc., one by one so that the image of sound can be drawn.
